Federica Scialpi
Office Administrator

We would like to introduce our newest DOA, Federica! Federica is a graduate Medical Office Assistant that has joined our office in January 2023 as a co-op student from Centennial College .                                                                                                                                    She graduated from Centennial College in Office Administration – Health Services having the Ontario College Diploma and started working at Tinto Dentistry as of April 2023!

She is fluent in Italian and English, as she is from Italy herself. She likes to be able to interact with people and help them as much as she can. In her free time, Federica likes to travel, play tennis during spring season and have long walks with her dog Raya.

 

Kathrina Guzman, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist

We would like to introduce our newest hygienist, Kat!. Kat is a registered Dental Hygienist and has been part of the Tinto Dentistry team since 2022.

Kat graduated with honors from George Brown College’s dental hygiene program in Toronto. She is a registered member of the CDHO (College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario) and an active member of the ODHA (Ontario Dental Hygienist of Ontario).

Outside of the office, Kat loves traveling, working out, snowboarding, and spending time with her dog, Roddy.

Julia Tinto, D.D
Denturist

Julia Tinto is a highly experienced denturist with over 10 years of experience in the dental industry.  She started her journey by being a co-op student with Dr. Papini while she was in high school. She then went on to complete back to back to back degrees in Dental Assisting, Dental Technology, and finally Denturism. She works at Tinto Dentistry where she provides custom denture services to help patients achieve healthy, functional, and natural-looking smiles.

With dual degrees in both Denturist and Dental Technology from George Brown College, Julia has the expertise and knowledge to create custom dentures that fit comfortably, securely, and are customized to each patient’s own unique face.  She has worked with hundreds of patients, each with unique dental needs and concerns.

Being Dr. Paul’s sister, Julia and Dr. Paul collaborate to provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Her specialty is creating custom dentures that restore patients’ ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.  She stays up-to-date with the latest developments in denturism and dental technology by regularly attending conferences and workshops.

While not working in her spare time she enjoys traveling, and staying active by playing soccer. You will often see her limping around the clinic from her latest sprained ankle.  She is currently trying to plan her wedding with some help from her brother Dr. Paul- her “Man of Honour”.

Dr. Paul Tinto
D.D.S

Dr. Tinto is actually a longtime patient of Dr. Massimo Papini’s! He grew up in the area, attending a local elementary school, and then went on to become a dentist, graduating from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Tinto graduated on the Dean’s list and was honoured with awards recognizing his aptitude in Periodontics as well receiving the award in his class for Ethics. Dr. Tinto previously worked out in Kitchener, Ontario where he practiced before coming back to his home on St. Clair. Dr. Tinto is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has learned all he could get by having Dr. Max as his mentor. Dr. Tinto now spends some of his time instructing dental students at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry as a clinical instructor.

Dr. Tinto has a passion for volunteer work, having volunteered his time on volunteer dental trips in developing countries providing dental care to the underprivileged. In his spare time, Dr. Tinto enjoys biking, exploring different areas of the city, and trying new and exotic foods. Let him know about your favourite restaurant!

 

Dr. Massimo Papini
D.D.S.

As of October 2022, We want to wish Dr. Massimo Papini a beautiful and healthy retirement. Dr. Max and his wife Julie now spend their time enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. We talk to him, Olga, and Julie regularly and will pass on your message if you let anyone in the clinic know. We know everyone will miss him dearly!

 

 

Cindy Glorioso
Hygienists

Cindy is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries. She is an active member of CDHA (Canadian Dental Hygienist Association) and is registered with the CDHO (College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario). She is very passionate about her practice and strives to provide the best experience for her patients. Outside of the office, Cindy enjoys spending time with family and friends.
